Mützenich bei Prüm is a German municipality in the Eifel, in the North Eifel Nature Park and on the edge of the Schneifel. The village is located near the Belgian border, next to Bleialf. Bleialf was recognized by the German government as an Erholungsort, among other things because of its excellent air quality. Mützenich is an Ortsgemeinde consisting of the Ortsteilen Mützenich, Schweiler and Ihrenbach. Mützenich belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Prüm and is thus part of the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in the federal state (Bundesland) of Rheinland-Pfalz. In 2013 Mützenich counts: 111 inhabitants + us!
